ROBERT'S FATHER, bOB, STARTED HIS WINE JOURNEY IN nAPA cALIFORNIA AND PURCHASED TWO VINEYARDS IN WHAT WOULD BECOME THE sTAG'S lEAP DISTRICT. hE LATER SOLD THESE PROPERTIES AND PURCHASED A LARGE PIECE OF LAND AND PLANTED GRAPES IN WHAT IS THE REMOTE gORDON vALLEY AREA OF NAPA. It BECAME KNOWN AS RAQUEL'S VINEYARD. ROBERT SOLD RAQUEL'S VINEYARD IN EARLY 2022 BUT NOT BEFORE MAKING A COUPLE OF VINTAGES OF WINE.
Kathy was continuing her own wine country lifestyle by moving to carlton-Yamhill AVA. There she was
managing wine tourism and exploring everything from amazing Pinot noir to other varietals the Willamette Valley winemakers offer. lessons in terroir were remarkable in the Willamette; and formed a striking contrast to southern oregon experience about to take place.
After meeting at a wine event, and discovering a common life goal, they ACQUIRED the talent vineyard, rogue valley Ava FROM a RENOWNED VITICULTURIST. hE HAD A VISION OF GRAPE GROWING IN ROGUE VALLEY THAT WAS UNPARALLELED. This excellence CONTINUEs today FOR their GRAPE BUYERS AND ALSO FOR THE WINEs CREATEd from this fantastic place.
