OK, I know technically spring begins on March 19th this year. But when you finish pruning your vines, your mindset changes. It is, therefore, Surprising to wake up to snow! That is good for all the reservoirs from Washington to California. How did this happen? I wondered if there was a Greek god responsible? sooooo, Boreas is the Greek god of the cold north wind, storms, and winter. He is often depicted wearing a billowing wrap. He fathered Chione, the goddess of snow. What a Pairing these two make. Then, just like that, Agathodaemon, fights back to protect the vineyard and delivers the sun. Fascinating!
